We like the program that emphasizes on subjects and skills that we feel are essential for our children. More importantly, we like the practice of caring and inclusive values among the teachers and students.
Fairview International school Subang Campus I am delighted to note here, recommending the high standards of education and teaching methods of the school and about the dedicated teachers, principal Ms Tee, vice principal Mr Andrew, PYP coordinator Ms Elaine, Assistant PYPC Ms Shirley, Ms Nadirah and the entire staff. My daughter has flourished and is enriched with the IB curriculum, which has made my daughter more interactive, a good thinker, she is more open and is highly informed about topics pertaining to her lessons, with all the research skills she has gathered, as IB curriculum is far different and advanced from the book based curriculum. I can say, with no regrets but had gained and benefited from the dedication teachers have shown towards the IB curriculum and the love from Fairview International-Subang campus which has natured and elevated my daughter to a better person in life, as a person and her education. Thank you Fairview -Subang
My twins (a girl and a boy, now 7 years of age) have been going to Fairview International School in Subang Jaya since they were 5.5 years of age. Whilst it is a small school with limited and simple facilities, we have been happy with the educational and overall school experience. We feel the International Baccalaureate or IB system really prepares our children for real life by teaching them not only relevant and meaningful content about the world and how it works, but more importantly, teaching them how to learn and skills they need to do well in the world today. The ten IB Learner Profiles also encourage children not only to be book smart but to be good people who care about others and the world at large. As a result, my children are not only learning a lot but they also learn good values and really love going to school. There is a lot of community spirit between the children, families, teachers and other staff at the school too. Everyone takes time to get to know each other and genuinely support each other. This is especially important to us as our daughter (twin number 1) is a child with Down syndrome, so she has special needs. The school has been truly supportive and inclusive, and works closely with us to help my daughter adapt well to mainstream schooling and to optimise her learning experience. We love the school a lot, as it has created happy and curious learners in our children. The one thing we do think needs some improvement is the administrative side of things. We feel the school management needs to work more closely with parents and genuinely consider parents’ viewpoints before making key decisions (that appear suddenly without prior consultation) relating to changes affecting to our children’s education. They need to build closer relationships and better rapport with families. Whilst many difficult decisions sometimes need to be implemented (especially during this pandemic period), parents will definitely appreciate an honest and fair engagement approach, with some time given for planning and preparation.
Choosing Fairview International School Subang Jaya might be the best decision that I have ever made for my princess. The joy of watching my child grow under a safe environment conducive for learning is beyond words. I could see that my Jia Jia is happy and can use English to invite her friends to her birthday birthday even though she barely speaks English at home.. Sometimes, the journey to fetch her back might be tiring, but the broad grin on her face every time she reaches home and her proactive attitude towards learning make all my tiredness dissipate into thin air
this is a school that i attended since i was 8 years old and i wasnt happy in this school ever since 2019 the school performance was so bad that teachers were kinda lazy to be honest they dont even know what they were doing! they only allow us to play in our electronic device when we have nothing to do. and the worst part is that i also face allot of bullying in the school. I was scared at that time. when i told the teachers about when i was bullied the teachers dont even care or take actions about it. I was scared because the bullying got worse and worse. the school to be honest was like an garbage land the toilet smells like trash, the floors were wet all the time, students fighting, the cleaners of the school didnt even bother to clean the whole school, the food was bad and unhealty. thats all i have to say
